I am a trainer assessor within Realise. I have 14 years of practical experience in early years, this has come from being a childminder in my own home, working within a nursery as a practitioner, offering 1:1 SEN support before progressing to a Nursery Manager, and then deciding to move to the education side of childcare. I hold a level 3 childcare qualification, Early Years Foundation Degree in Early Years and a BA Hons in Childhood Studies. I am very passionate about childcare and proud that I part of upskilling the sector

I have been working in the childcare industry for over 15 years now, where I was working in nurseries. I have lots of experience in early years and have achieved many qualifications. I love being an assessor to pass on my experience and knowledge to learners who are doing the qualifications in early years. It is the most rewarding job and I have a great team in the north west who support me as well.

Hi I am Polly Randhawa a trainee trainer assessor, and I have a passion for teaching and learning. I love spending time with family and friends as well as cooking and crocheting. 

I have worked in childcare for the last 15 years. Six years as a practitioner in nurseries and pre schools and four years as a deputy manager. I wanted to challenge myself and do something a little bit different but still in childcare and decided to train to be an assessor which I have been now for the last five years. I am passionate about early years and love seeing new practitioners blossom into educators and work their way up the career ladder in their settings.

I started my career by chance when i got offered to work at a nursery, as support staff for holiday club and it changed my life. I worked my way through level 2, and 3 apprenticeship, and became a room leader, I was supporting apprentices at the nursery as their mentor and I had a great assessor myself who influenced me to want to become an assessor. I continued developing myself as a nursery practitioner for 10 years before I took the step to complete my assessors qualification. I have been assessing now for 6 years and I can’t think of anything better. I love going to visit settings and seeing my learners, from seeing them progress through their careers and develop to be fantastic practitioners. Being an assessor is so rewarding.

I have been working within the childcare field for over 20 years. Throughout this time, my role has evolved which has led me to where I am today. Being a trainer assessor, no two days are ever the same, I love seeing my learners in practice and most importantly watching them develop into professional early years educators!

I have been assessing since 2016 and love working with learners and supporting them to achieve their qualifications, seeing each apprentice develop! I also really enjoy working to develop the curriculum and ensuring we are providing the best quality experience for all learners. 

I am a passionate and motivated trainer who loves to help others become the best that they can be. I am a qualified teacher and have worked in all aspects of the childcare sector from being a nanny to nursery settings. I love developing curriculum and supporting learning as part of my job role!
