About the course

Our associate project manager apprenticeship provides you with the skills and knowledge to help you become an effective and successful project manager.

We have designed the programme in partnership with specialist project management practitioners who work across the public, private and third sector on a daily basis supporting and managing large, complex projects.

This means that you’ll be provided with real industry knowledge and content with up to date thinking and best practice that is used by professionals today to help you to be an expert project manager too.

Is this course right for you?

Whether you’re already working on projects, working as a project manager or just starting out, our project manager apprenticeship will provide you with access to a wealth of knowledge that will underpin the development of your professional skills.

You’ll need to be involved in projects on a daily basis to be able to apply the learning and development of the programme into your day-to-day activities.

The programme covers the theory, skills, and behaviours of professional project management to help you succeed in your role. We have created a programme that includes time to understand the principles of structured project management and applying them to real project situations within your workplace so that learning goes beyond theory and is much more practical and useful in helping you develop your career.

It is great to see our apprentices progress, develop and work their way up through the project management community.

Being in education and training for approximately twelve years, I have been able to gain a depth of knowledge and experience to support others and add value to any organisation..
Throughout my career I have managed people and led others to achieve, not only strategic goals, but personal goals and achievements. Previously to education I spent 14 years as a manager in the insurance field.
I volunteered for a local college as a governor and chaired a committee, which is wonderful continual profession development, adding value to my role and enabling me to share experiences with others. I also support a business, as a business manager, in my spare time.
