Jane Purnell became a Childcare Trainer Assessor at Realise in October 2020 and she hasn’t looked back since!

Jane has always wanted to have a career in childcare, and she has a huge interest in the way that children learn and develop.

After deciding that she was ready for a career change, Jane chose to apply to Realise. When we asked her why she applied, she explained: “I heard about the way that Realise deliver their qualifications, I thought it sounded great. I am all for ‘right learner, right programme’ and this is definitely followed.”

As we post a lot of our jobs on our social media as well as our website, Jane saw a job for Realise on LinkedIn and applied straight away. We asked her about how she found the application process and she said: “I found the process very straightforward especially as it was during a pandemic!”

Jane believes that her work-life balance is much better now that she is working at Realise. We asked Jane about how she feels now she is working at Realise and she said: “I feel much more supported, valued and that my work life balance is much better. I feel listened to.”

“I love working at Realise! I love the delivery method, the interactions with learners and the team. I feel that I am cared about and that my career is invested in.”

When asked about what her advice to others thinking of applying to Realise is, Jane said, “just do it!”

In her spare time Jane loves going to Cornwall, sea swimming, boating, and canoeing. If that wasn’t enough to keep her busy out of work she also upcycles furniture in her spare time!

We are proud and excited that Jane has joined the Realise team and we are thrilled that she has enjoyed her time with us so far!
